Gingerbread House

The theme this week at Crafty Ribbons challenge is 'Christmas' with ribbon !
I am using one of the sentiment ribbons from the Christmas doodle range and it works perfectly for this card and it's gingerbread house (magnolia stamp). I found this cute little snowman button amongst my stash with the little hearts on and I thought it looked great especially with the heart covered roof.

Advent Calendars

Here are a couple of matchbox advent calendars I have made.
I started off with a matchbox die from Quickutz, It certainly takes time to cut the templates out then fold them up ! lots of glue tape too.
Dusted off my quickutz die cuts and QK  squeeze to decorate.
brads for drawer knobs, in various shades to match the design paper.
I topped each off with a silver snowflake and crochet snowflake and a pretty brad.
All that is left, to fill the drawers with little treats !

Ho Ho Ho

The challenge this week at Crafty ribbon's is anything goes with ribbon/lace.

Still trying to work up a good selection of Christmas cards, I decided to use the Santa's moustache ribbon. I found these wooden cut moustaches in a craft shop in Hereford ages ago. Think they may be from Papermania?
I used several papers from my stash and some red gems (papermania).
I couldn't make just one !!

Cracker from Santa's Grotto

I have a die cutter for a Christmas cracker, the Santa's Grotto tag ribbon fits the centre perfectly. I still had my shimmer mists out from making the tags so attempted to create a shimmering red cracker. with some tinsel and gold glitter to finish the decoration.
On the theme of decorating, I wondered if pom pom's would work as an addition to the packaging of presents, with some streamer of ribbons , here is wht I came up with, using the santa's grotto ribbons and sentiment ribbon from Christmas Rose collection. The bottom one is a felt rose, made using a scrap of felt on a small crochet snowflake.

More from Santa's grotto

Here's a tin I have decorated with a shaker window full of glitter and sequins. The ribbon from the Santa's grotto collection fitted perfectly around the tin base, what fantastic scene it creates!
A ticket stamp from inkadinkadoo and some die cut holly to embellish the top.
The fun didn't stop there, I also decided to create some decorations, they were given to me by someone having a clear out , I just had to pop them out and glue them together, just added a few gems/pearls/button the ribbon was perfect for adding a bit of character ! I used robin and holly ribbon on these decorations.

Feeling the Christmas spirit yet?
