Altered box

 One of my birthday gifts this year was a set from the Body Shop, it came in a nice sturdy box...so I thought let's decorate it. I used decopatch to glue torn pieces of design paper (mainly K&Co) from my stash. I edged the lid with lace (papermania) and blue rose ribbon (Crafty Ribbons).
 Then I added a stamped image from House Mouse, coloured with promarkers. Then a selection of buttons, Tim Holtz tickets, pearls and gems (Papermania, Hobby House), flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts.The bow is blue velvet ribbon from Crafty ribbons.
There is also a butterfly (from some Basic Grey paper) glued to the underside of a glass cabochon. I made a few of these and glued magnets to the back...they are on my notice board in the office.
I will enter it into the following challenges;

House Mouse & friends - anything goes
Altered eclectics - Anything goes
Oddball stamps - alter something
Rhedds creative spirit - Anything goes
Paper Take weekly - Anything goes
Through the craftroom door - Anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday - 2 or more ribbon/twine
All crafts challenge - anything but a card
Stamps + fun = creativity - flowers and pearls

Thanks for stopping by,
Kate x
